Mailee's Field Trip

Today I had the pleasure of going on a field trip with Mailee's grade one class. It was an all day event. We walked to the bus stop, rode the bus downtown, went to the library, ate lunch, went to a garden, went to the museum and rode the bus home. It was great to have the extra time to focus on Mailee...just one kid is no sweat!!

Mailee and some of her friends from school.

Mailee and Abigail are inseperable these days. They both posed like this without discussing it.

For 45 minutes the kids passed around animals that had been taxidermified (heh heh, not sure how else to say that but I think you get what I mean:) It was just a little gross in my opinion.

Here is Mailee holding a dead squirrel.

My big girl with her checked out books!

So great to see that Mailee fits in so well with the other kids and that she is such a happy and sweet little girl. Here she is with Abi and Maddy.

Isn't it amazing how each of your children has their own, distinct personality? Whoever says that God doesn't perform miracles has never had the joy of watching grandchildren blossom in a loving environment!

Your family is beautiful, and the field trip sounds like fun! I'm glad you had a happy birthday, too. Belated birthday wishes! :)
